Urban Maternity •• Okinawa Maternity Photographer

A few weeks ago I put out a casting call for a few pregnant ladies. I had quite a few applicants and had the HARDEST time deciding. I was only going to choose 2, but then ended up choosing 5. We ended up with 4 because of some unforeseen circumstances that happened the night before (everyone is okay). So early this morning, “S”, “C”, “K”, and “S” set out on Gate 2 Street for an Urban Maternity Session experience. I wanted to show everyone that urban sessions can be fun and very colorful. Not many women want this type of session, but I think it may be because they don’t know what it is exactly. I always end up at the beach or somewhere green, so for you ladies out there that are deciding on where you want to do your session…. there is the URBAN option. These wonderful ladies AND their husbands traveled up and down Gate 2 Street in the humid heat! What troopers! They were such a fun group of ladies and I will never forget this amazing experience.

Alexis - Thee are great! I love all of the colors!

Pamela - LOVE the colours, Kristi. I love Gate 2, great work 4x!!!

Sheila - Gorgeous! Love all the colors and your beautiful models!

Kena - Hey Krisit,
I absolutely Love these, they all turned out great of all of us :) Great Job!!

Brighter is Better….. •• Okinawa Family Photographer

Staci contacted me shortly after I limited my specialties to newborn and maternity. I couldn’t say no! I mean really, her and her hubby are from Utah too ( I am from Utah). They are PCSing VERY soon, so we had to get it in as soon as we could. We met up at a mutual friend’s house and got to know each other a bit then headed out for this session. We weren’t sure if we’d have enough light, as we were running a tad behind, but we had just enough light. I was beyond excited when they showed up in BRIGHT colors. I LOVE the bright colors!!!! This family sure does make taking pictures easy!! The kids were well behaved, mom and dad had fun doing their thing, and well they looked FABULOUS!!!! I told her it was too bad we hadn’t met long before last night, because I think we could have been great friends. Good Luck Nielsen Family on your vacation to Utah and then on to your new duty station!!!

Alexis - These are great!! Love all the colors, and the kids are adorable!!!

Yvonne - Beautiful family and captures!

Sweet Baby "O" •• Okinawa Newborn Photographer

Yesterday I was able to photograph beautiful baby “O”. She is a little older than I normally photograph newborns at almost 1 month old, but she was so good. Her hair just captivated me, I have never seen so much beautiful dark, curly hair on such a little baby. It was to die for, I was completely jealous! We also got some shots of Big Sister “V” and Baby “O”. No matter how much we begged big sister to give baby kisses, she wouldn’t. She would smell her and say “eewww she stinks”. It was too cute and funny. I must say mom looks completely amazing after just having a baby. She is just stunning!!! Thank you “V” for letting me photograph your gorgeous little girls!!! Enjoy your Sneak Peek!!

Alexis - Beautiful work Kristi!!! LOVE the footsie photo!!!

Sweet Homecoming…. •• Okinawa Photographer

A very wonderful family friend returned from a 9 month deployment to Afghanistan today. Michael is my husbands best friend and Debbie is one of mine. These two are family to us! It was a bitter sweet moment for me because my husband just left for Afghanistan last month and oh how I wish it was him returning already. I am happy to see Michael home again though. It was long road for him and his wife (her first deployment). Michael and Dallas (my hubby) were able to hang out a few days while there at the same time though and made them very happy. Anyway, I love and cherish the memories captured at the return of a loved one from a deployment.

Yvonne - Love these! Such emotional images.
