Oh Miss Audrey… She has been an absolute delight to photograph since she was born. It’s so crazy to watch these little ones grow. It goes by fast.. I think even faster when I only get to see them every 3 months. I can’t believe a year has come and gone. Yup you guessed it… she turned one a few months ago. I can’t believe I”m so behind on blogging. I am so very blessed to be as busy as I am though. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I absolutely LOVE what I do. It is my dream! I’m so glad these beautiful babies get to be a part of my dream. It’s not just a job for me. I invest a lot of time with these little ones. They hold a special place in my heart. This post was meant for a while back, but things have been super crazy busy around here! I have really enjoyed watching this little princess grow up. Marcus is another baby that has come to see me since he was born! I truly have enjoyed watching him grow and watch his personality develop. He is such a silly little sweet heart. He is on the go for sure! We *tried* to get some photos of him walking, but he was way to fast in the studio for that. I can’t believe he is already one. Time flew by so fast. You can enjoy him as a newborn, 3 months old, 6 months old and 9 months old(I didn’t get blogged).

Addison has been coming to see me since she was born! And now she is 9 months old. Well.. a few months ago. I have enjoyed each session with her. I have loved watching her grow. She is a super happy baby. Until…. I pull out the camera. Then she get mad and grumpy and just unhappy. She tends to cry because she doesn’t want to have anything to do with it. This time she was doing great until we put her in her tutu. Yup that did it. That made her cry. It was just too cute not to capture for mom to remember. For her to see when she gets older. I always love looking back at my memories of my kids. You can look back on her newborn session, 3 months, and 6 months(apparently I didn’t blog).I’ll have to fix that. Enjoy her 9 month session for now. Oh and if your wondering about her SUPER cute headbands… HER MOM MADE THEM!! Not only is she a talented makeup artist… she is super talented at making these adorable head bands. I cannot believe that Olivia is already nine months old! I see her every three months for pictures and with each session it seems like a shorter and shorter time in between. This one absolutely snuck up on me! Last time I saw her she wasn’t quite sitting up by herself and didn’t find me very funny. Well this time she was sitting up all on her own and well…. she still didn’t find me very funny. It’s amazing how much personality a baby can develop in just three months. She was very opinionated this time and it was so silly. I was really scared that we would have to reschedule this session, because 5 minutes before I got there it started raining. I thought OH NO! As I pulled up to the location it hadn’t even rained there! How amazing is that? We did see the storm coming though, so we were just hoping to get in a few shots that night and finish another night. We ended up being able to finish the session and had so much fun doing it. It was a challenge to get her to smile at me though, just like last time She is so cute as it is, that it doesn’t matter whether she is smiling or not… she’s just adorable! We had some fun on a bridge and on the beach!! I think it’s safe to say that we got our workout in trying to make her smile too. Enjoy!

*FYI* BABY SAFETY FIRST!! Mom and Dad were RIGHT next to her!!

6 Months | Beaufort Baby Photographer

6 months went by so very fast. It feels like yesterday this sweet pea was brand new! And suddenly she was 3 months old! Here we are at six months old and she just gets more and more beautiful every time I see her! I am so lucky that I get to see her grow through her first year. It is so fun to see her grow and her personality develop. Her mom and I have decided that she does not like to be photographed or so we thought….. In fact she really just doesn’t like her clothing on. With each outfit came a little less clothing and more smiles. I was so excited that it was a beautiful day for this session. I love bringing the little ones outside for pictures. When we got out to the location we had ants to overcome! I checked the location a few weeks ago before I went on vacation and it was perfect! We got there last night and it was crawling with ants. We just slid over under another tree, but it was still insane how many ants there were in the one spot.
As the session went on the sky got darker and darker and the wind picked up. Luckily, she was so good for her session and we got done just before it started pouring. Enjoy her cuteness!!!

Cake Smash | Beaufort Children and Family Photographer

OH Cake Smash, how I love you! Yes I love doing the cake smash sessions. They are so funny to do. Some of the babies dig right in and some of them aren’t quite sure and some aren’t sure at first, but then dig in. Isella, was one of those that was kind of unsure the whole time. She wanted to dig in, but I have a feeling she didn’t want to get dirty. I think she was a bit tired from the family pictures before hand. Which I might add was amazing! On top of a beautiful family, add amazing clothing choices and you have a stellar family session. This session is every photographers dream. Mom did such a great job coordinating. So many people ask me what to wear and I can always tell them, but not everyone gets it right. Well L, you got it PERFECT!!! I also love how she coordinated the clothing with the highchair. I’m not sure if that’s what she had planned, but oh it was perfect. L requested the turquoise high chair for Isella’s cake smash and I was sooo excited. I had a vision in my head of what it would look like, but L made it even better than what I had expected. The balloons, the outfits, the romper were all to die for. Maybe I should hire her for my clothing consultant for clients……

This little guys dad contacted me on short notice for a session and I’m so glad I was able to do the session for them. Benjamin was absolutely adorable! I just couldn’t get over how cute he was and oh yes.. how cute his little outfit was. This little man has some pretty awesome parents! He has some wonderful parents! Little man is 8 months old and has so much personality. I hope I get to photography him again really soon!! Enjoy all the cuteness! Oh and HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all the mothers and mothers to be out there!

So this was my first session with twins! Crazy, I know! These cute little monsters are some tough cookies for sure! They are older than my typical newborn so they were more aware of what was going on! They are absolutely adorable though!! I loved being able to snuggle with them and trying to keep names straight Maximus is the bigger of the two. Xavier is the little guy. See if you can figure it out
